Matthew MacDonald

Matthew was appointed Principal Bassoon of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in September 2013. Before his appointment there, he was Principal Bassoon of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and Co-Principal Bassoon of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra in Columbus, Ohio. Born in Huntsville, Alabama, McDonald co-founded Twickenham Fest with childhood friend Susanna Phillips, in 2009.
Susanna Phillips
Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director

Alabama-born soprano Susanna Phillips continues to establish herself as one of today’s most sought-after singing actors and recitalists. Frequently performing in leading roles at the Metropolitan Opera, in the off-season she enjoys working in collaboration with other artists in recital and chamber music performances. Susanna holds both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School.
Bronwen Murray
Executive Director

Bronwen is a lifelong arts enthusiast, former teen actress, and recovering political consultant. Along with Susanna Phillips she studied voice as a young adult with Ginger Beazley in Huntsville, Alabama. She earned a Bachelor of Art degree from Auburn University summa cum laude, and a Master of Science from the Medill School at Northwestern University.
Richard Brasseale
Stage Manager

Richard is a Chicago-based saxophonist who originally hails from Madison, Alabama. This is his third year with Twickenham Fest, and his first as Stage Manager. Richard attended Bob Jones High School and is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago.
Kristen Plant
Patron Relations Manager

Kristen returns this summer for a second engagement with Twickenham Fest. By day she is the Managing Director at PTC Productions, a NYC-based company, which offers dance, talent, and entertainment events. A life-long dancer, Kristen attended Bob Jones High School and is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
